About the College
HISTORY
January 2005
The Northern Bukidnon Community College (NBCC) was established in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, laying the foundation for accessible education in the area.
March 2005
Under Municipal Ordinance No. 368-2005, NBCC was officially authorized to begin operations and offer classes for Academic Year 2005-2006.
April 2019
Republic Act 11284 was signed, mandating the conversion of NBCC into Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC). This marked a significant milestone, transitioning the institution into a state college.
March 2020
NBSC submitted the complete set of documents required for institutional recognition to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (OIQAG).
October 5, 2020
NBSC completed preparations for its conversion into a state college under Republic Act 11284.
October 7, 2020
CHED en banc approved the conversion of NBCC to NBSC, officially recognizing the institution as a state college.
